Stephanie Jacobs, LPC
Putting the pieces of your life together can feel like trying to do a puzzle without the picture on the box—frustrating, overwhelming, and, let’s be honest, not very fun when you're doing it alone. That’s where I come in.
I specialize in walking alongside people navigating life transitions, anxiety, depression, divorce, infertility/fertility challenges, stress, anger management, relationship issues, codependency/attachment issues, and faith-related concerns. I also run an in-person Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) for adults who need extra support through group therapy. And for couples looking to start their marriage on solid ground, I offer premarital counseling using Save Your Marriage Before It Starts—because thriving in love takes more than just good intentions.
In therapy, we’ll identify what matters most to you, set realistic goals, and build emotional tools that actually work. Whether you're managing current stressors or digging into deeper patterns from the past, we’ll move at your pace. I work with teens (15+) and adults, and tailor each session to your unique needs.
My approach is holistic, practical, and personal. We’ll look at all areas of your life to find what’s really driving your distress—and we’ll create solutions that feel like they fit. You’ll get my signature mix of no-nonsense Jersey energy, genuine compassion, and the occasional dose of humor (because therapy doesn’t always have to be heavy to be helpful).
Let’s figure this out—together.

(Erin Pawlak, Stephanie Jacobs, Intake Staff, Billing Staff and Website Manager) “From the billing and administrative staff to the counselors, The Behavioral Wellness Group is a well-organized, clinically experienced and compassionate group! I highly recommend licensed professional counselors, Erin Pawlak and Stephanie Jacobs! They are kind, compassionate, attentive and skilled. The IOP programs are amazing options for adolescents and adults and one the only or few of their kind in the Bluffton, SC area. Another positive to the group is that they are in network with many different insurance companies and their billing practices are transparent and seamless unlike so many other groups in the area, they also offer other billing options such as Care Credit or billing installment plans if necessary. Phone calls and emails are answered promptly, and you will never feel alone and lost here! Their website is also well maintained and informative with detailed descriptions of programs offered and clinician photos and bio."
