Ellen Visger is a psychology trainee working towards her master’s degree in clinical psychology. She is supervised by Dr. John Glovan, Psy.D. Ellen offers individual and group therapy at The Behavioral Wellness Group. She contributes to co-facilitating Intensive Outpatient Programs at BWG. Ellen is focused on working with clients presenting with a variety of concerns. Some of these include anxiety, depression, trauma, bipolar disorders, and personality disorders.
Ellen takes an understanding and compassionate approach when working with clients. She uses practical techniques and solution-based approaches to guide individuals along their therapeutic journey. Some of the treatment therapies Ellen employs with clients are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT).
Ellen’s passion for clinical psychology and her clients will lead her to continue along her educational journey. She intends to eventually earn her Psy.D. in clinical psychology. Ellen’s goal is to be the best possibly trained and well-rounded clinician to aid her clients while using the most effective therapeutic techniques for each individual client.
