Danielle or “Dee” as she prefers to be called, is a doctoral candidate completing her dissertation. She earned her master’s degree in psychology from Meridian University where she is continuing her Ph D. program. Dee is currently under the supervision of Dr. Barbara Ballash and works with adults 20 years and over. She has experience with assessments and working with individuals in various informal settings. Culturally aware and sensitive, Dee is committed to integrative approaches honoring the full person and offering a respectful and supportive environment to foster growth, self-compassion and understanding that leads to new beginnings one small step at a time.
Dee is a person-centered therapist in training who uses neurobiologically informed models as well as DBT skills and other modalities to best suit her clients. Well versed in neurodivergence, Dee seeks to meet clients where they are with compassion and care. She holds a deep respect for individuals seeking therapy and recognizes the bravery and hope that comes from the decision to engage in what can be painful experiences for the purposes of growth. Dee works with clients who have experienced past and present traumas including individuals with Complex PTSD as well as PTSD and other trauma-related injuries.
