Michaela Rosales, Psychology Intern

Michaela Rosales is a compassionate, strengths-based clinician dedicated to helping individuals navigate anxiety, stress, trauma, life transitions, relationship challenges, and personal growth. She is currently completing her doctoral practicum at Behavioral Wellness Group (BWG) as part of her Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) training in Clinical Psychology at Meridian University. Michaela is supervised by Dr. Erin Kotkowski as she continues her doctoral clinical training.
With more than 20 years of experience supporting individuals, families, and communities, Michaela has served as a Board-Certified Health and Wellness Coach, special education teacher, childbirth educator and doula, military family advocate, and nonprofit leader. Her diverse background has equipped her to work with individuals facing a wide range of personal, relational, and life challenges.
Michaela integrates evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), mindfulness-based interventions, and positive psychology. She is committed to creating a warm, collaborative environment where clients feel empowered to build resilience, discover their strengths, and create meaningful, lasting change.
