Hannah Thompson, Clinical Counselor Intern

Hannah Thompson is a Clinical Mental Health Counseling intern at the Behavioral Wellness Group who is supervised by Erin Pawlak. Hannah is passionate about creating a safe, supportive space where clients feel genuinely seen and heard. She believes healing happens through connection and works to build a therapeutic relationship grounded in trust, openness, and collaboration.

Hannah works with both teens and adults, specializing in anxiety, depression, and the unique challenges faced by adolescents. She has experience supporting clients through stress, life transitions, emotional dysregulation, and identity development.

Her therapeutic approach integrates Person-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). This blend allows her to meet clients where they are, honor their lived experiences, and provide practical tools to support emotional awareness, healthier coping skills, and long-term growth.

Hannah became a counselor because she believes mental health is vital to a person’s overall wellbeing and quality of life. She views the therapeutic process as truly life-changing—one that centers a client’s strengths while offering additional strategies to navigate life’s challenges. She is committed to helping clients find clarity, build resilience, and move toward meaningful and lasting positive change.
