What is IOP?

An IOP is often recommended for individuals who do not require medical supervision and can live at home. This type of program is designed to accommodate work/family schedules and begin a long-term recovery. The Behavioral Wellness Group offers 7 different IOPs.

    • Intensive Outpatient Programs are 3 times a week for 8 weeks.
    • Assessments are available within 48 to 72 hours.
    • Court-ordered Chemical Dependency assessments are also available.
  1. Dual Diagnosis Hybrid IOP (OH) for those with both a chemical dependency and mental health disorder.
  2. Health and Wellness Virtual IOP (OH) created for those with a mental, an emotional and/or physical condition working to regain life coping skills.
  3. Daytime or Evening Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) Virtual IOP (OH) for those struggling with intense emotions along with isolation and self-harming behaviors or thoughts.
  4. Adolescents Virtual IOP (OH & SC) who need to focus more intensely on developing healthy coping skills.
  5. College Mental Wellness Virtual IOP (OH & AZ) for individuals ages 18-25 who are enrolled in higher education or currently taking “time off/gap” due to their mental health. Some stressors may include depression, anxiety, trauma, gaining independence, the stress of managing academics and social life, forming and maintaining relationships.
  6. In-Person DBT Mental Health IOP (OH & SC) for those 18 years or older who may be struggling with past trauma, interpersonal relationships, emotion dysregulation, distress tolerance, and related mental health issues.
