Counselor Trainee
Morgan Maestle provides therapy for children, adolescents, families, and adults, with a primary focus on children/adolescents. Areas of focus include anxiety, depression, substance use disorders, self-harm, suicidal thoughts, family conflict, and stress management. Morgan is also experienced in supporting clients with court-ordered or county-involved circumstances, helping individuals and families navigate complex systems while receiving meaningful therapeutic support.
Morgan’s treatment approach is holistic and integrative, drawing from Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and Internal Family Systems (IFS). Morgan also incorporates broader wellness practices that consider the whole person — mind, body, relationships, and environment. This approach blends practical coping skills with deeper self-understanding, ensuring clients leave sessions both supported and equipped with tools they can use in daily life.
Morgan earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Neuroscience from John Carroll University in 2022 and is currently completing a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a concentration in Substance Use Disorders at John Carroll University. With experience in both private practice and community mental health settings, Morgan has worked with clients across diverse backgrounds and presenting concerns, always prioritizing a safe, nonjudgmental space for growth.
