Jasmine Simms, MA

Jasmine Simms is a passionate, trauma-informed individual and group clinician assisting those with presenting issues trauma, mood dysregulation, depression, anxiety, and life adjustments. She is currently completing her practicum at BWG as part of her doctoral training in clinical psychology at Meridian University, where she also earned her Master’s in Psychology. Jasmine is on the license of and supervised by Dr. John A. Glovan. After over 15 years of service as a Licensed Vocational Nurse across medical, hospice, addiction treatment, and military healthcare settings, Jasmine has transitioned fully into the field of mental health and integrative healing.

 

Drawing from her extensive clinical background, Jasmine now assists individuals and groups of adolescents and adults, integrating modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and effective anger management strategies. Her therapeutic support fosters emotional awareness and regulation, interpersonal healing, and resilience in the face of stress and trauma.

 

Jasmine is known for creating safe, empowering spaces rooted in authenticity, cultural humility, and mind-body awareness. She is also a trained yoga instructor, bringing breath-based practices and embodied presence into her work. Her approach is informed not only by clinical knowledge, but by a grounded commitment to relational healing, self-inquiry, and collective growth. As a doctoral student and facilitator, Jasmine is devoted to expanding access to healing for marginalized communities and cultivating transformative group experiences that honor the whole person—emotionally, spiritually, and somatically.
