Rachael Moore, M.Ed.
Rachael Moore is an experienced educator and emerging psychology professional, currently pursuing a PhD in Psychology at Capella University under the supervision of Dr. Erin Kotkowski and serving as a doctoral practicum trainee. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Leadership from Wilberforce University and her Master’s in Education from Concordia University. With a strong background in working with children and adolescents, Rachael has dedicated her career to fostering growth, resilience, and well-being in young people. Her teaching experience has provided her with exceptional skills in observation, empathy, and communication—qualities she now brings to her work in psychological research and clinical practice.
Passionate about the science of human behavior, Rachael is focusing her doctoral studies on applying evidence-based practices to support mental health and development across the lifespan. Her areas of interest include neurofeedback, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR). She is committed to ethical, client-centered approaches and translating research into meaningful interventions that empower individuals and communities.
