AREAS OF STRENGTH:

  • 100% of reviewed charts had ROI's filled out and signed. This is an increase from 2021.
  • 100% of reviewed files had family involvement from start to finish or family involvement was offered to the IOP participant.
  • Overall, the total average of Quality-of-Life Scores was 3.6, meeting the goal of 3.6. This has been maintained from 2021.
  • Noticeably Improved Depression (53%) and Anxiety (51%) scores on average across all IOPs on empirically based measures. This is an increase in both areas from 2021.

SUGGESTIONS FOR IMPROVEMENT:

  • 85% (goal was 90%) of files had comprehensive orientation completed with ROIs, consent to treat, pre-screens, financial agreement, interpretive summaries. Goal will remain at 90%.
  • Interpretive summaries were missing in several files. In 2021, 94% of files had summaries but in 2022, the number decreased to 91%. Goal for 2023 will be 100%.


AREAS OF STRENGTH:

  • 64% of respondents did not report feeling hopeless about themselves or their lives-an overall improvement from intake to 6 months post graduation follow-up with depression scores
  • 64% of respondents reported reduced or not having anxiety at all- an overall improvement from intake to 6 months post graduation follow-up with anxiety scores
  • 100% of respondents reported no desire to end their life 6 months post graduation
  • 100% of respondents reported no suicidal ideations 6 months post graduation
  • 54% of respondents reported not feeling stressed out 6 months post graduation

SUGGESTIONS FOR IMPROVEMENT:

  • Implement more stress management skills in the IOP curriculum.
  • Increasing Aftercare participation to reinforce skills to reduce depression and anxiety scores as well as stress management.

The Behavioral Wellness Group is a counseling center providing therapy and behavioral health services and assessment including chemical dependency/drug addiction treatment, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT) and other therapies. We also provide mental health or psychological assessments, and psychological,educational and bariatric testing.
